Lot 130 1851 N-6 R1 Repunched 1's NGC graded MS66 Brown.Choice lustrous bluish steel and light olive brown with peeps of very faded mint color on both sides. No spots or stains and only a couple microscopic contact marks including a tiny tick on the nose above the nostril and a faint horizontal hairline over the NE in ONE. M-LDS, die state c late. The repunching on the 1's is gone and the die lines up from the coronet over LIB are weak. Our grade is MS63+, tied for CC#5 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
