Lot Description

A wonderfully original, warmly toned example with soft tan patina to appreciable pinkish-apricot mint color. Boldly struck and solidly in the Choice Uncirculated category despite the presence of a few faint, widely scattered carbon spots that hardly detract. The Generation 3.0 PCGS insert uses coin #2019, which is now reserved for the Large Letters Guide Book variety of the 1858 Flying Eagle cent.
