1847 Liberty Quarter Eagle. AU-53 (NGC). Medium-gold color to both sides, a bold strike and freedom from all but a few readily evident abrasions further enhances the coin's appearance. This coin is a bit hazy, but more direct angles do call forth flickers of semi-prooflike reflectivity in isolated areas around the devices.
