Even medium antique grey toning, accented by subtle iridescence through most of the stars and legend. Luster rolls under the heavy patina. The originality of this piece is its selling point. Never ignore an 1821 in high grade. Headlines routinely go to 1820s, but this low mintage date is nearly as tough. Est. $1,400 to $1,750.
