High Promises Collection. 8 graded MS-61, 130 higher at NGC. Subdued eggshell-grey luster permeates the entire surface, and given the substantially weak strike, it's no wonder the dies had limited ability to impart vibrancy. Still, there can be no doubt as to uncirculated preservation as the surface remains amazingly free from abrasions. 1919-S is the fourth toughest key coin to the mint-state series.
