- 1903 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-65 (NGC).
This wonderfully original example is toned in rich, variegated colors that include charcoal gray, antique copper, salmon pink, golden-apricot and cobalt blue. Razor sharp in striking detail with a uniformly reflective finish. The surfaces are uncommonly smooth, confirming the conditionally scarce status of this survivor from a mintage of 755 Proofs.
