- 1829 Capped Bust Dime. JR-7. Rarity-1. Medium 10C. MS-65 (PCGS). CAC. Frosty champagne gray devices and satiny fields display warmly varied golden highlights and widely active cartwheel luster. The somewhat prooflike fields support boldly rendered design elements with only a hint of weakness at the eagle's claws, not at all unusual for the type. Perfection in-hand, with just a small, circular lint mark below the eagle's sinister wing the only reward for a deliberate magnified search. A boldly attractive Capped Bust dime, undeniably of Gem quality, and absolutely worthy of both the assigned grade and a place in your collection
