Lot Description

1788 Vermont Copper. RR-17, Bressett 14-S, W-2125. Rarity-4. Bust Right. VF-25. 115.74 grains. Chocolate-brown surfaces exhibit olive highlights and faint microporosity. Evenly centered with no marks of consequence on either side. The devices are fairly sharp for the variety, and aside from the minor surface roughness, the eye appeal is substantial. A pleasing Vermont copper that should appeal to a broad spectrum of bidders. PCGS# 563. Provenance: Acquired from Bowers and Merena Galleries, June 12, 2002.
