1880 Indian Cent. Proof-67 * RB Cameo (NGC). Exceptional eye appeal, that is particularly striking on the obverse. Deep fiery golden red at the center, where the sharp and lustrous device stands out, surrounded by a ring of vivid red, blue, and violet iridescence of unusual depth. The reverse is bold olive and gold at the center, with deeper coppery red around. A coin that probably easily earned the NGC star designation for eye appeal, and the second finest proof graded by NGC behind a piece with just a little more red.
