Lot Description

The Crimson Collection. Struck for only three years, many collectors prefer the sleeker "no drapery" obverse over the latter modification that introduced a drapery below Liberty's elbow. A considerable portion of denim-blue and cherry-orange decorates the obverse while the reverse shows mostly silvery patina with violet hue near the rim. An exquisitely detailed example with fully delineated obverse stars.
