1787 Massachusetts Half Cent. Ryder 4-C, W-5940. Rarity-2. VF-35. 72.53 grains. Deep golden-brown with bold design motifs for the grade. Low magnification reveals some areas of light pitting on the obverse, but the in-hand quality is substantial. A worthwhile example that should be seen to be appreciated. PCGS# 296.
