Lot Description

This Choice example sports bright, flashy luster throughout each side. Well struck and free from distracting blemishes. A scarcer Philadelphia Mint gold dollar, the 1860 has a fairly limited mintage of 36,514 circulation strikes. It is elusive in finer Mint State grades, as here, at which levels it is also particularly desirable to advanced gold enthusiasts.
