1908-S Barber Half Dollar. MS-64 (PCGS). CAC. Vivid peripheral toning adorns both sides, the luster otherwise satiny with pronounced prooflike reflectivity evident in the reverse field. A smartly impressed, carefully preserved survivor from a mintage of 1,644,828 pieces. Like many San Francisco Mint issues in the Barber half dollar series, the 1908-S is scarce to rare in all Mint State grades. PCGS# 6515. NGC ID: 24N7. PCGS Population: 16; 18 finer (MS-67 finest).
