- Newcomb-1. A die crack encircles the reverse, beginning at the base of "U" and meandering through NITE before falling back toward the base of "D". The obverse, although a bit glossy, seems devoid of contact while the reverse shows linear abrasions around ONE and just between ONE CENT. Very well struck in general, the color seems a bit uneven overall due to scattered bronze and pecan accents.
