1876 Octagonal 25 Cents. BG-799D. Rarity-6. MS-64 (PCGS). OGH--Second Generation. Struck with the expected mirror finish in the fields which offset the frosted devices. Olive-gold toning earned over the sweep of time, and carefully preserved since the time of issue. Dies by Christopher Ferdinand Mohrig. A tough die pairing to find, first noted by the Doering's in 1980.
