1738-A French Colonies Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-16. Rarity-1. AU-50 (PCGS). 33.3 grains. A somewhat softly struck example, but still visually pleasing, with most of the orginal silvered finish still intact, and no obvious surface flaws, save for a few mint-made planchet laminations. Some bright-green verdigris is noted near the obverse periphery between 2 and 3 o'clock.
