- 106 graded MS-62, 1 graded MS-62 "star", 9 higher at NGC. While it is not difficult to find an 1881-S in circulated or near-mint grades, uncirculated pieces are far more rare, just as the population report suggests. This blazing, copper-orange example features stellar luster and a fabulous strike, with the grade limited by the expectant overall abrasions.
