- Tinges of luster roam over the very bright surface. The flashy area of exergue around the date retains bright, metallic die-polished character that suggests this may have been a somewhat semi-prooflike coin when first struck, but modest wear and foreseeable abrading has removed most traces of the as-struck surface texture.
