- Sensational white luster erupts from the surface of this well-established strike-sensitive example. Happily, both sides display significantly better details than one expects early '40s San Francisco half-dollars, with Liberty owning an almost fully outlined hand. Were it not for four small abrasions beneath the eagle's beak, the grade would readily enter superb territory.
