Lot Description

A lovely GEM example of the first year of Proof Franklin half dollars. Watery mirrored fields have a bold, uninterrupted reflection on both sides. The eye appeal is excellent, and even with a powerful glass we are unable to locate anything but some light lines, but the eye appeal is great. PCGS 806, NGC 882, CAC 113. There are 34 in 66+ at PCGS. The most recent example brought $1,323 in July 2019 and the current PCGS value is listed at $1,200. Very scarce any finer, and this one is very nice for the grade. Cert.
