- 1879-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. VAM-3. Top 100 Variety. Capped Die. MS-62+ (NGC). CAC. A fully lustrous and nicely struck example of a prominent key date among Carson City issues and within the Morgan series in general. The fields are faintly reflective and the devices frosty, all sporting a faint champagne-gold sheen. Nicely struck and aesthetically appealing with every twist of the holder.
