1874-CC Liberty Half Eagle. AU-50 (NGC). CAC. Deep yellow-gold with honey-gold and olive highlights throughout. The fields are moderately reflective in the protected areas. Some scattered ticks are present from its stay in circulation, but no single mark will draw the viewer's eye. We note just a solitary example of the date called Mint State by NGC, making a pleasing AU such as the present coin a logical choice. PCGS# 8334.
