Lot 219 1821 N-2 R1. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. CAC.Attractive glossy light to medium brown blending to olive brown in protected areas on the obverse. Mint frost shows in the fields and protected areas and this cent has excellent eye appeal. The notable marks are a faint diagonal line of tiny ticks from the field off the chin to the right side of star 3 and a small spot of dark toning at the right foot of the F in OF. Sharply struck EDS with hard, very slightly reflective fields on the obverse. The diagonal die line from the bust tip is bold. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#6 in the Noyes census, his photo #20755. Our grade is MS60. Comes with a wonderful provenance that has been traced back more than 100 years. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
