1798 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. Heraldic Eagle. B-10, BB-109. Rarity-5. BB Die State III. Pointed 9, Wide Date. AU-53 (NGC). This is a very rare die pairing which is seldom offered at all, especially so at this Condition Census grade level. The obverse and reverse are toned with light golden accents over silver-gray. Traces of luster exist in the protected areas too, and the surfaces are pleasing to examine with minimal circulation marks and nothing detracting worthy of mention. For this variety specialist this will be a prize to bring home from the present auction, and a coin that any knowledgeable numismatist will cherish.
