- At the time this example was certified by NGC (a number of years ago), 1886-O was still somewhat difficult in mint-state and even MS-60 examples would have commanded a premium in the marketplace. The slabbing craze has placed a few thousand at the mint-state level today, but even a heavily abraded and weakly lustrous example like this will deserve a lot of respect.
