1834 Matron Head Cent. N-2. Rarity-1. Small 8, Large Stars, Medium Letters. MS-63 BN (PCGS). CAC. A handsome golden-brown example with intermingled faded orange and, to a lesser extent, pale rose highlights. The surfaces are hard and satiny with sharply rendered design elements. Light carbon to the central obverse high point and over the upper left reverse is noted solely for accuracy, the in hand appearance otherwise smooth and suggestive of an even higher numeric grade.
