- 1866 Liberty Quarter Eagle. AU-58 (NGC). Bright and reflective in the fields with blazing yellow-gold which is offset by the orange-gold color where there is slight circulation evidence, on the high points and in the central fields. Mintage of 3,780 coins for the year, few survived and most show far more wear than seen here. A delight for the specialist.
