Virtually complete satin luster and generally sharp striking detail confirm this coin as a conditionally rare 1892-S Morgan dollar. Lightly toned over the obverse with eye appeal to spare. The legendary 1892-S is one of the rarest silver dollars of this type in Mint State. Very few examples remain at that level of preservation, and they are so costly as to be out of reach for most buyers in today's market. We are thrilled to offer this Choice AU for discriminating collectors. It is one of the nicest examples at the grade level that we have handled in recent memory, and it is sure to have no difficulty finding its way into a high grade Morgan dollar set comprised mostly of Mint State coins.<p>
