1959 Franklin Half Dollar--Struck on a Type I Silver Quarter Planchet--MS-62 (PCGS). The strike is nearly centered on the planchet, allowing one to appreciate most of the central design elements of the Franklin Half Dollar. These include the date, all four digits of which are sharp, and the reverse mintmark area. There is no upset rim, as befits a Type I planchet. A minimally patinated, suitably lustrous BU with delicate silver-gold tinting to both sides.
