1795 Washington Grate Halfpenny. Baker-29AA, W-10955. Rarity-1. Large Buttons, Reeded Edge. MS-63 RB (PCGS). 140.0 grains. A satiny and lustrous deep red-brown specimen with the immediate visual appearance of a finer grade. The strike is strong for the type. Heavy obverse die cracks seen through HINGTON THE FIR, with cuds at E FI, another crack at ND downward into the field below TO, and a raised die lump in the field at the M of HUMAN. Choice for the grade with exceptional all-around eye appeal.
