1924-S Standing Liberty Quarter. MS-64 FH (NGC). Splashes of vivid iridescent toning provide outstanding eye appeal. Satiny in finish with a well executed strike, there is much to recommend this coin to the advanced Standing Liberty quarter enthusiast. Accordingly to series expert J.H. Cline (Standing Liberty Quarters, 2007), less than 2% of this issue's mintage of 2,860,000 pieces emerged from the dies with sufficient detail to warrant a Full Head designation based on today's grading standards.
