Mintage: 13,600. 9 graded MS-67, 6 higher at NGC. Without question, the endearing, snow-white devices layer over mirrored fields with an impressive impersonation of fully prooflike character, although NGC did not designate anything on the slab. Of course, the Philadelphia quarters and half-dollars of the era frequently look prooflike but the full cameo presentation is unmistakable here. That being said, depth of strike does not meet the standards of a true proof, nor are the rims truly squared off, but a partial wire rim on either side speaks to pronounced striking pressure.
