FROM THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART III Sharply impressed with excellent details and considerable mint luster intact. Prooflike reflectivity can be seen in protected areas of the design – although moderately circulated this was likely a monster coin when struck. Rich russet toning towards the rims. PCGS 3, NGC 1. Listed in the PCGS price guide at $900. Most recent auction appearance for the date and grade was in June 2021 for $1,020. Relatively few survive from an original mintage of 4,400.
