Losbeschreibung: 1802/1 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-3, BB-234. Rarity-3. BB Die State III. Wide Date. EF-45 (PCGS). High quality for this prized overdate issue, with steel-gray to gunmetal-blue toning on both sides combined with lighter silver on the worn devices, providing high eye appeal. The overdate feature is bold with no attempt made to cover up or efface the underlying 1, just a big 2 is dropped right on top. Problem-free circulation, no adjustment marks and traces of underlying luster remain on both sides. This overdate issue is quite rare in full Mint State, and difficult to find in any grade of About Uncirculated, as well as Extremely Fine.
