- Description du lot
- One of the keys to the series, the 1918/7-D overdate is so important and popular, it is considered a part of the series. Soft silver-gray tone graces both sides. Lightly worn surfaces are relatively smooth with only a few tiny scattered circulation marks. Buffalo nickels were struck with raised dates that were susceptible to even moderate wear. The eye appeal is wonderful for the more modest grade, a rarity that is sure to delight any advanced collector! PCGS 36, NGC 26, CAC 12. The PCGS Price Guide lists this date at $8,500 and we just sold one in our June Premier Session for $7,425. An infrequent opportunity for the Buffalo Nickel collector to fill what is typically a hole in the set. Cert. Number 34266723 PCGS # 3939
