- 1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-9. Rarity-2. Manley Die State 2.0. High-Relief Head. EF-40 (PCGS). Deep golden-tan with a glossy in-hand appearance, though low magnification reveals numerous scattered ticks relegated chiefly to the obverse; they don't affect the eye appeal and are mentioned solely for accuracy. The centering is perfect and the boldness of the design elements is right in line with the assigned grade. A choice example that would readily enhance any advanced type set or half cent cabinet currently in its formative stages. The High-Relief Head Guide Book variety is not denoted on the PCGS insert.
