Richly toned in steel-blue with splashes of deeper charcoal and warmer reddish-rose. These are scarce, as are all Reconstruction era Liberty Seated quarters from the Philadelphia Mint. Only 20,000 circulation strikes were produced in 1867, and attrition was high due to export and melting.
