Lot Description

Mintage: 4000. 1 graded MS-64+, 14 higher at PCGS. Subtle reflectivity erupts with a sudden flash when bright light is shined upon the flawless surface, especially for the near-brilliant reverse. An even layer of russet-almond hue covers most of the coin, yielding to some royal-blue edge toning on the obverse, and a broad swath of silvery brilliance on the reverse. A single trifling nick in the northwest recess of the star appears to be the primary grade determinant, as nothing else detracts from the excellent technical appeal.
