1917-S Standing Liberty Quarter. Type I. MS-67 (PCGS). Among the finest-certified survivors of the issue, this '17-S Type I SLQ is as smooth as one should expect at the Superb Gem grade level. In addition to a lack of detracting abrasions, both sides are impressive due to the vibrancy of mint frost that remains to the surfaces. Delicate pinkish-silver iridescence blankets the obverse, while the reverse is untoned apart from a crescent of bolder gray-russet patina along the lower-left border. Low pop!
