1878-CC Liberty Seated Quarter. Briggs 2-B. MS-64 (NGC). This is a richly toned near-Gem with the most vivid colors evident as direct lighting angles. Sharply struck with a smooth satin texture throughout. A second opportunity for the collector to acquire a Mint State example of the scarce and normally elusive 1878-CC quarter. PCGS# 5509.
