1888 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-64 (PCGS). A richly original specimen exhibiting a bold blend of olive-copper, steel-gray and sandy-mauve patina. Vivid undertones of cobalt blue and golden-orange shine forth nicely under a light. With a full strike and pleasingly smooth surfaces, this is an appealing late date Liberty Seated Proof half dollar from a year that saw a limited mintage in circulation strike format. PCGS# 6449.
