Lot Description

1884 Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-66 PL (NGC). OH. Brilliant and lustrous with a glorious arc of toning centered on the upper right of the obverse of deep umber-gray with the borders along Liberty's cap and hair showing distinctive yet thin rainbow hues when examined under a light. Clean surfaces and mostly white and lustrous, with a dusting of tiny toning specks noted on the balance of the obverse while the reverse shows a light golden accent at its rim. A condition rarity with the Prooflike reflectivity and one of just five to achieve this grade level, with none seen finer.
