1795 Washington Liberty and Security Halfpenny. Baker-31A, W-11005. ASYLUM Edge. AU-50 (PCGS). 144.4 grains. Edge: AN ASYLUM FOR THE OPPRESS'D OF ALL NATIONS. Deep golden-brown with olive highlights. No readily noticeable marks immediately engage the viewer's eye, and no substantial blemishes are seen under low magnification. Reverse die crack from eagle's dexter wing, across its head and then to ECU before terminating at the rim above R. Solid naked eye quality throughout.
