The Minute Hall Collection. 24 graded XF-45, 74 higher at PCGS. Unexpected for Charlotte gold, either side sees a very good strike, all things considered, especially for the central devices. While not so lustrous as might be, for example, a Philadelphia example, the protected areas display very minimal evidence of previously flashy luster, particularly within halos around a few of the obverse stars. A singular carbon spot at the bottom of the shield forms the sole distraction, and it is minor for a Charlotte piece of this caliber, lightly abraded and free from the usual larger contact abrasions.
