Losbeschreibung: Ex Toneddollars Collection, as noted on the insert. A truly unique GSA toner, a near-GEM 83-O housed in the lesser known "soft pack" holder. While the Carson City dollars from the GSA hoard of the early 70s, a smaller number of New Orleans mint coins were discovered in bags and placed in soft, plastic holders. This example is beautifully toned on the obverse, rich streaks of rainbow toing. The obverse rates a 9+ on our 10-point color scale.
