Here is a beautifully toned GEM capstone to the Barber half dollar series. Deep, rich, varied gold hues blend with a wonderful tangerine-orange and lovely olive-tan patina throughout. While we note a tick or two, these are totally minor and require a strong glass to locate them. The eye appeal is excellent and totally original. PCGS 23, NGC 7. The current Collectors Universe value is $3,500 and in the last decade, less than a handful of non-CAC examples have sold in auction. These do not appear too frequently. Just a half dozen MS66+s have been graded finer at PCGS making this a great piece for any set. Cert. Number 38804862 PCGS # 6533.00
