FROM THE DR. STEPHEN DAVIDSON COLLECTION What a great type coin! A lovely, near-GEM N-9, a popular Randall Hoard variety, of which many Mint State coins exist for collectors today. Deep, mahogany brown surfaces gleam with a glamorous brilliant mint luster. Sharply struck the eye appeal is great for the grade. PCGS 34, NGC 106 (all varieties), CAC 12. The two most recent PCGS/CAC examples sold in early 2020 realizing $1,821 and $2,040, matching almost exactly the CAC CPG value of $1,880 and PCGS Price Guide of $2,100.
