Lot Description

1796 Draped Bust Quarter. B-2. Rarity-3. AG Details--Graffiti (PCGS). A subdued, evenly well worn representative, with pleasing rose-gray toning. A complete outline of Liberty remains visible, along with a full date. Most of the small eagle on the reverse is evident. The 1796 Small Eagle quarter is the second-rarest of all U.S. silver types, save only for the 1796/1797 Small Eagle half dollars.
