Among the DOZEN FINEST 53-D quarters graded, this SUPERB GEM is totally original and has a great look! Brilliant, satiny luster blooms boldly on both sides, accenting the iridescent toning on both the obverse and reverse. Sharply struck and very clean, this coin is worthy of its lofty grade and devoid of any flaw of consequence. The visual quality is wonderful. PCGS 50, NGC 71, CAC 20. There are 11 in MS67+ and just a single MS68 is graded finer. These have sold in the $3,120 to $4,700 range with five examples sold in the last two years.
