Very tough Civil War era gold piece struck at the San Francisco mint, only eight PCGS examples have been graded finer! This satiny AU saw impressive preservation, the fields are delightfully smooth and light even wear touches the high points. Ideal medium-gold color and fantastic eye appeal for the grade level as well as the issue!
